JUNE THRU AUGUST 2015
We are very excited to announce that in August Port Sanilac will be a stop for this awesome fundraiser!
Check out what they do and where they are going and make sure to keep an eye out for the festivities.

What

A casual and fun paddle relay around lower Michigan, open for all to join. You can paddle one leg, one day, one week– whatever amount you want.  The Epic V7 will be our flagship boat that will be paddled by hundreds of different paddlers as it covers the Lower Michigan shoreline

Where

Along the entire 1,100 mile coastline of Lower Michigan.   The open relay will start at Belle Isle, Detroit,  and finish at Belle Isle.   The coastline has been divided into thirteen 80 mile segments each raising funds for a selected  charity.  Find a stretch of coastline you always wanted to paddle and join for whatever legs you want.

When

The event runs all summer and you can join whatever parts you want.  The first leg will kick-off on June 1st at Belle Isle.   The first week will finish in Southeast Michigan.   The relay will then move across the state and head up the western shoreline through June,  across the top of Michigan in July, and down the Eastern shoreline in August.

Who

Anyone and everyone is encouraged to sign up.  You can even reserve a leg to paddle the flagship Epic V7 Surfski.   There are designated captains (local paddlers) for each section that will coordinate the details “on the ground”  and chaperone the group.

How

A detailed schedule of each paddle leg, most of which will be between 2-10 miles, has been published on the segment pages.   Anyone can sign up to paddle the V7 for a leg or simply join the group in your own SUP, Kayak, Canoe, or Surfski

Why

Raise money for several great charities.  Bring paddlers of all types and backgrounds together to collectively tell the story of the magnificent Michigan coastline. Showcase an amazing new type of boat and a new sport that is rapidly taking off.
