Does your propeller need repair?
The important things to look for when determining if your propeller needs repairs (besides the obvious dings and scratches) are performance changes. If you are losing speed or seeing changes in the WOT (Wide Open Throttle) rpm reading on your engines, the prop could be the problem. If you are feeling a vibration while running at any speed, it could be due to imbalances in the propeller blades. Even small bends or dents in your propeller can cause larger issues with imbalances. Be sure to get your propeller in this Winter for a recondition, and be ready to hit the water come Spring!
