Port Sanilac Fourth of July Harbor Fireworks
The Port Sanilac Independence Day fireworks display over the harbor on Lake Huron. The price is free and the display starts at dusk or around 10 pm.

Sanilac County Historic Village & Museum
The Sanilac County Historic Village and Museum is a collection of more than a dozen historic buildings located on ten acres of the original Dr. Joseph Loop estate in the Lake Huron harbor village of Port Sanilac. The Sanilac County Historical Society invites you to step back in time as you wander through the beautiful gardens and the Victorian, Edwardian, and vintage buildings and exhibits that are featured on the property.
Sanilac County Humane Society Putt-Putt & Driving Range
With every ball you hit, you drive SCHS closer to building our new shelter. All proceeds and donations go straight to our organization. SCHS is a no-kill shelter. We do not belong to any other humane society. Our doors are kept open by public donations only. As a 501c3 non-profit organization, your donations to SCHS are tax deductible.
The Hi-Way Drive In Theatre
The Hi-Way is conveniently located 5 miles east of Sandusky and 9 miles west of the lakeshore of Port Sanilac on M-46 in Carsonville, Michigan.
The box office opens at 7:30 and the movies start at dusk. Sound is available through your FM car radio. New movies start on Fridays. Campers are welcome, but there is no water or electric hookup available. Their hotline number is (810) 657-MOVI (6684).
The Lexington Village Theatre
The Lexington Village Theatre is the premiere performance venue in downtown Lexington, MI. Huron Shores Golf Club
Established in 1925, Huron Shores Golf Club is known as a challenging and fun to play course in Michigan’s Thumb that offers breathtaking scenery with a classic layout. Huron Shores is an 18 hole regulation course with a beautifully remodeled clubhouse, open completely to the public!
The course is located in Sanilac County, Michigan, just 3 miles north of the quaint town of Port Sanilac on M-25. Huron Shores Golf Club is easily reached from Thumb area and Mid-Michigan communities alike-not to mention the ride in is just as gorgeous as our course.

Sanilac Petroglyphs Historic State Park
Sanilac Petroglyphs Historic State Park is a state park in Michigan containing Michigan’s only known rock carvings attributable to Native American Indians. The park consists of 240 acres in Greenleaf Township, Sanilac County, in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula.
The Petroglyphs are open for viewing Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Memorial Day through Labor Day (please call to confirm hours and dates). The archaeological site may also be available for a special viewing during the rest of the year via a use permit.
